    • Absence of malabsorption syndrome despite specific HLA associations was noted.
    • Rapid clinical improvement was achieved with dapsone therapy, indicating therapeutic efficacy.

    • These findings support JDH as a unique disease entity separate from chronic bullous dermatosis of childhood.
    • The study highlights the importance of immunofluorescence and clinical presentation in diagnosing JDH.
