Thalamic inputs to visual areas 1 and 2 in the rabbit

Rabbit visual cortex (V1, V2) receives distinct thalamic input. Visual area 2 receives input from the pulvinar and ventral lateral nucleus, unlike visual area 1, which is dominated by the dorsal lateral geniculate nucleus.
