Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, statin therapy, and cerebral microbleeds: The CIRCLE study

Very low LDL-C levels were linked to more cerebral microbleeds (CMBs). However, statin use, particularly atorvastatin, did not increase CMB risk and may offer protection in stroke-free individuals.
