Summary

Deep brain stimulation (DBS) effectively treated bilateral Holmes tremor (HT) in an HIV/AIDS patient with progressive multifocal encephalopathy. This first-in-kind bilateral VIM/PSA DBS approach showed no significant side effects and improved tremor control.
