SCIWORA in children. A rare clinical entity: Ambispective study

Spinal cord without radiographic abnormality (SCIWORA) disproportionately affects children, with most injuries occurring in the cervical spine due to motor vehicle accidents. Functional recovery, assessed by AIS grade D, was observed in 31% of patients one year post-discharge and remained stable over five years.
