METACARPAL FRACTURES TREATMENT: COMPARASION BETWEEN KIRSCHNER WIRE AND INTRAMEDULLARY SCREW

Intramedullary compression screws (IMCS) offer faster healing and earlier return to activities for metacarpal fractures compared to Kirschner wires (K-wires). Both K-wire and IMCS treatments for metacarpal fractures are safe and effective.
