Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks (USG-PNBs) offer a safe alternative for shoulder dislocation pain relief in the emergency department. While procedural sedation may yield higher reduction success, USG-PNBs reduce adverse events, especially for patients with cardiorespiratory issues.
