  • S. aureus exhibited resistance to multiple antibiotics including tetracycline, chloramphenicol, and penicillin.

  • The high prevalence of multi-antibiotic resistance (MAR) in these foodborne pathogens is concerning.
  • Stringent monitoring and improved sanitary practices in HACCP establishments are crucial.
  • Enhanced measures are needed to prevent foodborne infections and the transmission of AMR bacteria through poultry products.
