Primary Cutaneous Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma-Not Otherwise Specified (pcPTCL-NOS) in Pregnancy

Background:

• A 25-year-old pregnant woman presented with a 5-month history of rapidly progressing skin lesions on her left thigh.
• The lesions evolved from papules to ulcerated nodules, unresponsive to initial antibiotic and surgical treatments.

• Physical examination revealed multiple ill-defined, erythematous, immobile, and ulcerated nodules on the left thigh, measuring up to 4x5 cm.
• Matted inguinal lymphadenopathy was noted on the left side.

Findings:

• The nodules exhibited ulceration with purulent discharge and crusting, suggestive of secondary bacterial infection.
• The lesions extended significantly along the medial aspect of the left thigh.
• The patient delivered a healthy baby boy, with lesions persisting two months postpartum.

• This case highlights a challenging dermatological presentation during pregnancy.
