[Adrenal cortical adenoma in rabbits due to hypercholesterolemia]

Abstract:

A sharp increase in the blood cholesterol level due to cholesterol introduction to rabbits for 2 months (per os, 0.25 g/kg of the body weight) causes multiple light cellular microadenomas in zonae fasciculata and reticularis in 13 of 17 rabbits 7.5 months after the beginning of the experiment.
