[Demonstration of normal and pathologic ossicle structures with a new direct roentgen magnification technic]

With a new l mu Focal spot tube, which allowed high grade direct radiographic magnification, we examined the structures of ossicles, taken from normal and pathological middle ears. Bony details that up to now could only be seen with histological or microscopic procedures, can be shown in the intact, untreated object. Some examples demonstrate this new technique.
