Summary

Adding human tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP1) to in vitro maturation (IVM) culture improves bovine oocyte developmental competence. The 50 ng/mL TIMP1 concentration yielded the most blastocysts, indicating enhanced embryo development potential.
