Summary

Background:

Soft tissue chondromas are uncommon benign tumors typically found outside bone and joints.
Eyelid involvement represents a rare clinical presentation for this type of neoplasm.

Observation:

A 45-year-old male presented with a gradually enlarging, firm subcutaneous mass on his left upper eyelid over two years.
The lesion's slow growth and location were key clinical observations.

Findings:

Complete surgical excision of the eyelid mass was performed.
Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of soft tissue chondroma.

Implications:

This case highlights the importance of considering rare diagnoses like soft tissue chondromas in eyelid masses.
Accurate histopathological diagnosis is crucial for appropriate management of benign orbital and eyelid tumors.
