    Summary

    Urinary polyamine levels, while elevated in colorectal cancer patients, are not specific enough for tumor detection or prognosis. However, they may help monitor treatment response and detect recurrences.

    Background:

    • Urinary polyamine levels can be elevated in patients with colorectal malignancy.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the utility of urinary polyamine levels as tumor markers in colorectal cancer management.
