Opioid-Free Anesthesia for Pain Relief After Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy: A Prospective Randomized Controlled Trial

Opioid-free anesthesia (OFA) reduced the need for rescue analgesics and shortened the time to first flatus after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). However, recovery of orientation and LMA removal time were longer with OFA compared to opioid-based anesthesia (OBA).
