Cue- versus reward-encoding basolateral amygdala projections to nucleus accumbens

Two distinct basolateral amygdala (BLA) neuron types project to the nucleus accumbens (NAc). The Ppp1r1b subprojection, not Rspo2, selectively drives cue-induced drug seeking and relapse in substance use disorders.
