An apparatus measuring blood surface activity and preliminary results

The concept of blood surface activity (BSA) is introduced and used as a new index for physiologic and clinical studies. An integral BSA meter has been designed for the measurement. Experiments indicate that there are notable differences between human patients suffering from cardiovascular disease and healthy ones, and between healthy rats and goats.
