Intracapsular tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy (iTA) offers reduced pain and complications for children with Trisomy 21 (T21) obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) compared to traditional tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy (TT). Both procedures effectively improve OSA, with no significant difference in long-term outcomes.
