Correlation between diabetic retinopathy and diabetic nephropathy: a two-sample Mendelian randomization study

- Findings suggest that DR can be a valuable non-invasive biomarker for predicting the risk of DN.
- Results are consistent with clinical observations and robust across multiple sensitivity analyses.
