This study developed four predictive models using hypoxic parameters to automatically identify respiratory event types in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). These models offer a novel tool for analyzing nocturnal SpO2 data to distinguish between hypopnea, obstructive apnea, central apnea, and mixed apnea.
