Abstract:
The significance of the outer ligament lesion of the ankle joint derives from its frequency. Inadequate diagnostics lead to poor treatment results. It is imperative to make held images with the supporting apparatus in 2 planes. The guidelines for treatment are obtained from the measured values. We thus achieve our therapeutic aims: ligament stability with freedom from symptoms, perfect mobility and load capacity and the avoidance of arthrosis.
