In view of the difficulties in diagnosis and the necessity of meticulous whole-day therapy supervised in detail by the physician over many weeks and which the patient could only bear with difficulty, inpatient treatment in a hospital specializing in edema nosology is always indispensable in such cases. On the other hand, the diagnosis developed by Dr. H. is wrong, and the therapy suggested is also ineffective and harmful.
