Synergism is a useful mechanism where combining two or more drugs is more effective than each constituent used alone. Such combinations are also called supra-additive interactions. To evaluate a model-informed clinical decision support tool for guiding empiric antibiotic therapy.
To improve antibiotic prescribing practices in hospitalized patients with suspected infections.

A cluster-randomized trial design will be employed.
