Incorporating functional annotation with bilevel continuous shrinkage for polygenic risk prediction

We developed PRSbils, a novel method for polygenic risk scores (PRS) that improves prediction accuracy by incorporating functional genetic annotations and bilevel shrinkage. This approach enhances genetic risk prediction by accounting for sparse effects at both variant and annotation levels.
