[Use of radiological models for calculating the isoeffective doses of normal tissue tolerance]
Abstract:
The potentialities of a two-component radiobiological model and empirical formulas were compared for the calculation of isoeffective tolerant doses in fractionated irradiation of the spinal marrow. The radiobiological model was shown to give more realistic isoeffective tolerant doses than the calculation using the empirical formulas.
