Tumor progression is a phenomenon where the pre-formed tumor acquires successive mutations to become clinically more aggressive and malignant. In the 1950s, Foulds first described the stepwise progression of cancer cells through successive stages.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the applicability of the International Prognostic Score for Early-stage CLL (IPS-E) and the alternative IPS-E (AIPS-E) in a Middle Eastern cohort.
  • To identify predictors of disease progression and treatment initiation in early-stage CLL.
