Summary

Butyric acid (BA) and DMSO induce hemoglobin expression in murine erythroleukemia cells (MELC). Preincubation with DMSO followed by BA accelerates and synchronizes hemoglobin and globin synthesis, enhancing E2 hemoglobin production.
