Interview transcripts were qualitatively coded to identify themes in circumcision training.

Twenty-three physicians participated; 78% currently perform NC.
Most physicians learned NC via a "see one, do one, teach one" model with limited formal training.
Current trainees receive more supervision, but training remains largely hands-on.
Participants expressed a need for more structured training and a formal curriculum.

Conclusions:

Physicians perceive a shift towards more hands-on NC training compared to their own experiences.
Developing a structured neonatal circumcision curriculum is recommended to enhance training quality and consistency.
