Summary

Topography-guided LASIK improved vision-related quality of life and reduced visual symptoms, despite a slight increase in higher-order aberrations (HOAs). Patient satisfaction with visual outcomes was 100%.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate patient-reported outcomes and higher-order aberrations (HOAs) after topography-guided LASIK.
  • To assess the impact of topography-guided LASIK on visual quality of life and patient satisfaction.

  • Prospective, nonrandomized observational study.
  • 30 patients (60 eyes) underwent bilateral topography-guided femtosecond LASIK for myopia.
