Accidental eye exposure to Calotropis plant sap can cause significant vision loss. Prompt medical treatment, including antibiotics and steroids, is crucial for restoring sight and preventing permanent vision impairment.

- A 30-year-old male presented with acute eye injury after Calotropis sap contact.
- Symptoms included blurred vision, foreign body sensation, and photophobia.
- Ocular examination revealed conjunctival congestion, corneal edema, and Descemet's folds.
Findings:
- Best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) in the affected eye was initially 6/18.
- Immediate treatment with systemic/topical antibiotics, topical steroids, and lubricants was initiated.
- After two months, BCVA improved to 6/6, with complete symptom resolution.
Implications:
- Calotropis sap exposure can lead to severe, yet treatable, ocular injury.
- Early and appropriate medical intervention is essential for vision recovery.
