Are comparable studies really comparable? Suggestions from a problem-solving experiment on urban and rural great tits

Urban and rural great tits showed no difference in problem-solving skills. However, experimental conditions significantly impacted results, highlighting challenges in comparing animal cognition studies across different labs.
