    Summary

    Diabetic osteopenia, or bone loss, is prevalent in diabetic patients. This study found significantly higher rates in females and those on medication, with bone mass loss increasing with age.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To assess the prevalence and characteristics of diabetic osteopenia in a large cohort.
