A new 3D-printed microfluidic device rapidly detects COVID-19 severity biomarkers, including interleukin-6 (IL-6) and C-reactive protein (CRP), in patient serum. This low-cost immunoassay aids in predicting disease progression and informing critical treatment decisions for better survival rates.
