A Bridge to Curative Surgery for Obstructive Colorectal Cancer: Self-expandable Metallic Stent Versus Decompression

Self-expandable metallic stents (SEMS) offer comparable outcomes to decompression tubes for obstructive colorectal cancer (OCRC) bridge-to-surgery. SEMS placement resulted in more laparoscopic surgeries and fewer stomas, with similar survival rates.
