Summary

Metal exposure, particularly lead (Pb), may increase human papillomavirus (HPV) infection risk, while cobalt (Co) shows an inverse association. Combined metal exposure also correlates with higher HPV prevalence, highlighting environmental factors in HPV infection risk.
