Deep and Superficial Debridement Techniques in Lower Extremity Split-thickness Skin Grafting

Deep debridement (DD) of lower extremity wounds before split-thickness skin grafting (STSG) significantly reduces graft failure, especially in culture-positive cases. This technique improves STSG outcomes for chronic wounds.
