SPECT/CT imaging: quantifying 99mTc-MDP concentration in the spine and pelvis

This study found that body surface area (BSA) normalization provides the most robust standardized uptake value (SUV) for 99mTc-MDP bone SPECT/CT imaging. SUV normalized by BSA is recommended for clinical evaluation of bone metastases.
