Summary

Cortical activity during REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) movements shows specific patterns, including a premotor potential and altered brainwave activity. These electroencephalographic changes are consistent in patients with and without Parkinson's disease, suggesting cortical involvement in RBD movements.
