Summary

Cryptogenic new-onset refractory status epilepticus (cNORSE) treatment outcomes are better understood with immunotherapy for 18 weeks to 1 year. Poor outcomes in cNORSE patients are linked to MRI lesions and prolonged unconsciousness.
