Association Between Papillary Thyroid Cancer and Primary Aldosteronism in Individuals With Hypertension

Primary aldosteronism (PA) is independently associated with papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) in patients with hypertension. This suggests PA screening in individuals with both conditions, irrespective of hypertension severity.

- Recommend PA screening for patients with both PTC and HT, regardless of HT severity.
