Abstract:
Adolescence is a unique period of development during which some young people can present significant liabilities. These include vulnerabilities that may be psychological, social, familial or academic. Risk behaviors, such as those addictive, are often part of this period of life. Adolescents who are subject to a combination of vulnerabilities require more sustained, multifaceted support. This support requires time and a good knowledge of the medical, psychological, social, educational, administrative, and legal networks. Their complex situations sometimes make it difficult to understand their needs and, consequently, to decipher priorities. The «Midis-Adolescents» meetings encourage innovative multi-disciplinary and inter-institutional networking, enabling us to cope with the complexity of our interventions.
