Abstract:
Hetero- and homoleptic dinuclear zinc(I) complexes containing the macrocycle Me4TACD (N,N',N'',N'''-1,4,7,10-tetramethylcyclododecane) were prepared; the heteroleptic complex [(Me4TACD)Zn-ZnCp*]+ reacted with activated hydrocarbons R-H (R = CH2CN, CCPh) to give the corresponding hydrocarbyl zinc(II) complexes [(Me4TACD)ZnR]+.
