Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To describe and evaluate the FrontXribs technique for aesthetic correction of winged ribs.
  • To assess the efficacy and safety of percutaneous chondral management for thoracic contouring.

Main Methods:

  • A cohort of 32 female patients underwent the FrontXribs procedure.
  • Preoperative and 6-month postoperative measurements included angular and length assessments of thoracic projection and pulmonary function tests.

  • The FrontXribs technique demonstrated significant reduction in anterior chest length (9.66 cm decrease) and altered thoracic angles.
  • Operative time averaged 51.1 minutes under general anesthesia.
