Progress with the Second Dose Measles Vaccine Introduction and Coverage in the WHO African Region

Measles elimination requires high coverage of two vaccine doses. While measles-containing vaccine second dose (MCV2) coverage in Africa increased, it remains below targets, highlighting challenges in reaching children over 12 months old.
