    Summary

We introduce Mathieu geometric modes (MGMs), a new class of light fields offering greater control over elliptical accelerating optical vortices. These modes provide enhanced freedom for complex particle manipulation and advanced optical tweezers.

    • To achieve geometrically tunable elliptical accelerating vortices with enhanced control over OAM.

    Main Methods:

    • Formulating MGMs based on helical Mathieu modes (HMMs) as stationary coherent states.
    • Utilizing eccentricity-related parameters for tuning vortex properties.

    Main Results:

    • Demonstrated geometrically tunable elliptical accelerating vortices.
