Background:

The hip joint, a ball-and-socket structure, is inherently stable.
Bilateral anterior dislocations of native hip joints are exceptionally rare, representing less than 1% of all hip dislocations.

Observation:

A unique case of bilateral anterior hip dislocation following trauma is presented.
The patient sought medical attention within 6 hours of the traumatic event.

Findings:

Prompt reduction of the dislocations was achieved under propofol anesthesia in the operating room.
The patient had no concurrent fractures associated with the dislocation.
Post-reduction follow-up with serial X-rays for two years showed no development of avascular necrosis of the femoral head.

Implications:

This case underscores the importance of timely intervention in managing bilateral anterior hip dislocations.
Successful reduction and uneventful recovery suggest favorable outcomes are possible with prompt treatment.
Long-term radiographic monitoring is crucial to rule out avascular necrosis, a potential complication.
