Upstaging of Invasive Lobular Cancer With FES PET/CT

18F-fluoroestradiol (FES) PET/CT imaging accurately stages invasive lobular carcinoma. This advanced imaging identified unexpected metastases in a patient, changing her diagnosis from stage II to stage IV and altering treatment plans.
