Abstract:
Primary osteosarcomas predominantly originate in the metaphyseal region of long bones. The introduction of 18 F-FDG PET/CT imaging has revealed unusual and often rare sites of metastatic spread. Peritoneal deposits in osteosarcoma are not a commonly reported finding in the literature. The present case highlights the 18 F-FDG PET/CT findings in a case of osteosarcoma of the left fibula with isolated peritoneal metastasis with no regional or distant metastases.
