Reimplantation of the dilated ectopic ureter of the duplex system as a separate unit

Separate reimplantation of the dilated ureter provided a surgical alternative in 2 patients with duplex ureters, in whom ureteroureterostomy or double reimplantation might have compromised the smaller caliber normal ureter.
