Summary

Early-stage familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR) shows temporal midperipheral retinal microvascular abnormalities (MVAs) linked to vitreoretinal microstructural abnormalities (VRMAs). Microvascular loss correlates with reduced vessel density and increased vessel diameter index in affected eyes.
